Couple: Walter and Cathy

Joint Couples Work

We are licensed marriage and family therapists. In working with couples over twenty years, Walter McGerry and I have found that often couples feel more supported working in the setting of joint couples therapy. Each partner experiences another set of ears and eyes taking in their point of view. I also see couples on my own, which some couples prefer.

Couples who have lost their way toward intimacy, or who are still seeking to know it with their partner, can gain skills to deepen communication, and the support and encouragement to continue developing these skills long after therapy is completed. For couples who are navigating the separation process, we can help you work with the inevitable challenges of this phase of your lives, in order to minimize communication difficulties inherent in endings.
